Program Overview

This program overview, which is a part of a large series, was created to highlight Kirtland Community College's educational opportunities through authentic student and faculty stories. The goal was to showcase the program experience while creating an engaging piece for prospective students and the community.

My Role: I handled the videography, conducted and filmed student and faculty interviews, designed the motion graphics, and completed all post-production editing to create the final piece.

What Am I Getting Into?

This video series was created to give prospective students an honest and realistic look at Kirtland Community College's programs. Through candid interviews with students and faculty, the piece explores the expectations, challenges, and rewards of the profession, helping viewers understand what the program demands and whether the career path is the right fit for them.

Hotel TV Intro

This video is part of a six-part in-room television series produced for guests of the Lumberjack Lodge in West Branch, Michigan. Designed to enhance the visitor experience, the series introduces local attractions, outdoor recreation, dining, and community events, helping guests discover everything the area has to offer during their stay.

My Role: I served as the on-site director and producer for the series, overseeing production from concept to completion. I wrote the scripts, directed filming on location, captured drone video, recorded the voiceover narration, and completed all editing, motion graphics, and animation for the finished videos.

Hotel TV Part 2

This video is part two of a six-part in-room television series produced for guests of the Lumberjack Lodge in West Branch, Michigan. Focusing on the region's outdoor recreation, the video showcases local trails, parks, waterways, and seasonal activities, encouraging visitors to experience the natural beauty and adventures that make the area a popular destination.

The History of the Cheese Haus

This documentary-style video tells the story of the Frankenmuth Cheese Haus, exploring its history, traditions, and lasting impact on the Frankenmuth community. During production, the project's direction evolved following the passing of founder Judy, requiring the story to be thoughtfully restructured to honor her legacy while preserving the history and character of the business.

My Role: I developed the story and wrote the script, conducted and filmed interviews, captured ground and aerial footage, sourced historical assets, and completed all post-production editing, motion graphics, animation, sound mixing, voice over and final delivery. Working closely with the client, I helped shape a narrative that celebrated the Cheese Haus's history while respectfully recognizing Judy's contributions and enduring legacy.

Rifle River Kayaking Experience

Produced as part of a YouTube travel documentary series for the West Branch Visitor Bureau, this episode explores the kayaking experience at Rifle River Recreation Area. Rather than serving as a traditional tourism advertisement, the video immerses viewers in the experience through cinematic visuals and storytelling, highlighting the area's natural beauty while encouraging audiences to explore one of northern Michigan's premier outdoor destinations.

My Role: I developed the creative concept and wrote the script, directed production on location, captured both ground and aerial footage, and completed all post-production editing, motion graphics, and animation to bring the story to life.
